Well-being office

Our department focuses on helping students with health, life difficulties and issues such as friendships, family, work pressures and physical and mental health issues.

This is to enable students to grow up healthy and happy at Aberystwyth University and beyond.[3] We also offer one-to-one resource appointments with a mental health professional or counsellor for each student, including quick chats, online resources to address current difficulties and a professional assessment by a psychologist to develop solutions based on the consultation results.

Casual Meeting

Our department will provide each student with a personal mentor to help support students' problems in college and get academic advice.

And the private tutor will contact and meet with the students regularly through appointment consultation at a reasonable time each semester to understand what difficulties and problems the students have encountered shortly and provide relevant help and solutions.[4]

Job opportunity

Our department will provide students and graduates with relevant support services, help them understand how to obtain a university degree and provide students with practical experience during their time at university to help them in their future careers.[5] This will enable students and graduates to realise their aspirations and secure a better future.

On the other hand, our department also helps students to learn about relevant job opportunities, for example, by conducting webinars, lectures, individual counselling, interactive group sessions and events offering online services. We are willing to help students in all aspects of their careers and future success to ensure they benefit from career education, information and guidance support.
